Join us as we kick off InterAXions 2022! Datacor president Tom Jackson will share his annual "State of Datacor" presentation and we'll go over some general housekeeping items for the conference.

This opening session features highlights and demonstrations of new development and enhancements completed throughout the year. The class also focuses on Top Ten items submitted by attendees, discussing potential solutions addressing these items and encouraging participation by attendees regarding their current practices.

The opening session will provide all Datacor ERP .NET attendees an opportunity to learn about new and upcoming features in Datacor ERP .NET as well as in the extended Datacor product family that the ERP integrates with.

A large number of Datacor ERP usage is by “factory pack” distributors. For these companies, the relationship with the suppliers they represent is just as critical as the relationship with the customers they sell to. As such, distributors have somewhat different purchasing, reporting and analysis requirements than other Datacor ERP users. This session will provide an opportunity to focus on the needs of distributors and discuss how different Datacor ERP users have managed and dealt with the unique requirements of this segment of the industry.

Datacor ERP .NET is the new face of the Datacor ERP .NET software, so configuring it and getting users in a position where they can comfortably perform their jobs is a process that all Datacor ERP installations will need to go through at some point. The GO .NET team will walk you through the process and the options available to you. We will also provide the tools available to transition screen customizations, report definitions and user personalization from Datacor ERP.

This seminar will introduce Datacor’s new for 2022 Mobile Warehouse Computing solution. This offering replaces the previous “BC .NET” and “PW Menu” screens which were server-based and made only limited use of the capabilities of modern scan guns and other handheld computers. The latest version runs as a native app on mobile devices running Android, iOS or Windows. Mobile Warehouse Computing is part of a new suite of mobile computing solutions being offered as part of Datacor’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) product family.

This session will focus on topics specific to the AP, AR and GL modules in Datacor ERP .NET.

Many of Datacor ERP report screens have been re-engineered and released in Datacor ERP .NET. This workshop will also take an in-depth look at the options available in the Datacor ERP .NET report screens. Both the filtering and sorting options have been expanded to include almost any possible field directly related to the data being analyzed, and the built-in Datasheet tab allows for quick tabular analysis without the process of previewing and exporting to some other application. Outside of the reports, Datacor ERP .NET has an abundance of native data analysis options available in the portals that this workshop will explore in full, including grouping and totaling and custom calculated columns.

Datacor A/P Invoice Automation saves you time, money, and frustration by automating supplier invoice matching, approvals, and voucher posting activities. In this class, you will learn how to gain control of your accounts payable process and enforce timely invoice approvals. You will see a demo of the product in action and have an opportunity to ask questions. If your Accounting team currently spends a lot of time manually matching invoices and posting vouchers, or chasing down invoice approvals, you’ll be interested in what A/P Invoice Automation has to offer.

Datacor ERP .NET includes a vast array of options and features which allow users to change the appearance of the portals and of Datacor ERP data entry screens. Some of these are cosmetic, such as screen colors and column layouts. Others, such as custom menus, favorites, custom help guides and Spanish language support, can greatly aid in productivity. Using the “Customize” button in Datacor ERP .NET, you can move and resize fields, turn text boxes into drop down lists, add your own validation rules, and even add your own fields to screens. This workshop will allow you to explore both basic and advanced features and present a hands-on opportunity to learn about and practice using these features in the Datacor ERP .NET interface.

That is why we are offering attendees the opportunity to explore this amazing city and experience first-hand the many different things it has to offer. You’ll learn at least one or two techniques that you can use immediately upon returning to your office. This seminar will also serve as a preview of topics which will be covered across the various course offerings at InterAXions.

This workshop introduces users to the Datacor ERP .NET database. We will explain some of the basic concepts of the Microsoft Access relational database and show you how you can extend the capabilities of Datacor ERP .NET by working directly with the data. You will learn the basics of using queries and other features of Microsoft Access. We will also review tips and techniques specific to the most recent versions of MS Access. If you are new to Datacor ERP .NET, or you are ready to look “under the hood," this workshop is a must.

Resource Planning is a time-tested business philosophy, supported by the Resource Planning (RP) Module in Datacor ERP .NET. We will discuss Forecasting, Master Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning, along with how related functions outside the Resource Planning Module can impact the success of your implementation. Product consultants will be present to share their experiences with real world implementations of MRP in Datacor ERP and the benefits of a successful deployment.

But with over half a dozen data specific portals, some with over a dozen tabs and each of those multiple panels and grids, the sheer amount of data available can be overwhelming. This workshop will focus on solving a number of specific business cases that will demonstrate the full power of the data and functionality available in the portals.

This final session includes a status update on C/S in general as well as on our planned future development direction. This class is an open forum to discuss and exchange ideas or concerns, in addition to wrapping up our 2020 InterAXions conversation. Feedback from the community is encouraged, including suggestions for next year’s InterAXions, along with ideas for future enhancements.
